During the last 3 weeks, your RCW 139: 2010 committee has been discussing ideas for your convention, and coordinating with the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville hotel. We're excited to announce that the convention will now be known as RCW 139: Duesers' Day Off. We'll soon have logo choices on which you'll be able to vote - in the meantime, if anyone has a logo suggestion, feel free to send it to info@rcw139.org!

At the same time, we're just as excited to announce that attendees can now start booking rooms at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville. In fact, you'll be able to party like it's 1999... as we've negotiated an incredible rate of $139/night, which is $10/night less than two years ago, and you guessed it - the same rate which was offered to attendees of RCW 139: Ride Forever in 1999, 11 years ago! You can reserve a room with either 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds at this special convention rate. For those who are not familiar, the hotel is ideally situated, in the fashionable Yorkville district of downtown Toronto, with direct access to the city's two main subway lines. Furthermore, the hotel has just finished a complete renovation of all its rooms, which now feature new beds, desks, and 42" flat screen TVs. For more information about the hotel:

The special convention rate will be in effect from 3 days prior until 3 days following the convention (9 - 17 August), for those wishing to stay a few extra days and visit the many attractions in and around Toronto. We have a block of rooms set aside for August 12, 13, and 14, while pre- and post-convention reservations will be subject to availability. We therefore encourage you to book early. Please note that in 2008, our block of rooms was sold out on some days and we can't guarantee that extra rooms will be available if this is the case again.

Great news today - RCW 139 rides again! We can now confirm that RCW 139: 2010 will take place August 13-15 2010, at the Toronto Marriott Bloor Yorkville hotel in Toronto, the site of the last four RCW 139 conventions! Details about registration, hotel bookings, and event specifics will be provided within the coming weeks.
