Hello,
I used to watch Due South as a teenager, what was a pretty a loooong loooong time ago (to be honest 13) and was completely hooked on it..... I can't believe there were more series, as I was sooooo in love with Paul (I'm sure I was not the only one ;) Still looking good though) and I wanted to see more, but after first series they stopped. I guess TV it was on didn't have enough money to buy the next ones. So I have a task to find the rest I haven't seen :)

A link of thanks -
http://tinyurl.com/d23o2h
Hey, there! I would just like to thank the creators, organizers, volunteers and anyone else involved in the convention of 2008. My gratitude is a long time in coming and for that I apologize(RL has not been fun). I can't even begin to tell you how much this trip meant to me! The hubby and I had been broke for a while, so the trip to RCW139 was going to be expensive. Yet, he insisted I go and I agreed! :::heehee:::
The con was EXCELLENT! I got to meet other fans, take a subway for the first time in my life (WOW!), exchange _all_ my American $ for Canadian $ and, most of all, I got to meet David Marciano. This has been a dream of mine since 1999. I got to meet Paul Gross in 2000 and then completed my quest by meeting DM.
And this is all due to your effort and dedication and I thank you so very much for that. Without your time and effort, I would not have had such a grand opportunity. I will remember it as a great highlight in my life. Your hard work is most appreciated! Thanks again!

I wish I'd known about this site sooner. I watched due South when I was a kid, found the DVDs last summer... So many kinds of awesome.

Hi All,
Just found out about these meetings! I would love to attend the next one. I've been a big Due South fan for a long time, and would like nothing better than meeting others to discuss. Hope to see you soon!!!

Hey everybody, I'm working on a Due South wiki over at Wikia, and could use as much help as possible. If you're a fan of the show and want to keep the spirit and memory of Due South alive and strong, please contribute to this community effort at http://duesouth.wikia.com
Thanks guys!

Hello all, Greetings from England.
Found you through Facebook & I am loving this site. I love Due South, it is a brilliant programme & I would love if they brought
it back to our screens. I met Paul Gross in London whilst he was here in 1998 promoting the 3rd series, it was a wonderful & memorable
moment for me !!
I would definately love to go to a convention & would definately fly over to attend !!!
Peace & good wishes to all

Hey, gang! I am a Due South fan with a definite preference for seasons one and two because I LOVE the friendship between Ray Vecchio and Fraser. My all-time facvorite episode is "Victoria's Secret" which was a real tearjerker. I am glad to have found this site and it has revivified a lot of my love for the show. I spent some time on YouTube watching clips and documentaries. Lived in Alberta for 9 yrs, but I am an American, so Due South has a special place in my heart. I'll have to keep track of this site and find out when the next convention is! Blessings-MW

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the convention, hope you all had an excellent time! Just wanted to drop a note saying thanks for the Supporting Pack! Just received mine and it exceeded my expectations (particularly the signed photo =O !!) Brilliant work.

Hello Fellow Duesers
With only 27 days to go before we make our way to RCW 139 Toronto Holiday Convention 2008, I thought I'd say a quick hello to you all.
Having missed the previous conventions, I'm really still in shock that RCW 139 is up & running again, but determined not to miss this time. Looking foward to meeting fellow Due South fans, & of course cast & crew too.
So see you there & have a safe journey.

Hi Linda! Thanks for the note. Yes, we're still looking for footage and pictures from old conventions. Please send me a note at steph@rcw139.org and we can discuss in more detail!
Regards,
Stephane

It's really neat to see RCW is back, and I hope you all have a fabulous time. I certainly had a blast in 1997 and 1998.
Are you folks still looking for video footage from the old conventions? I may have a really crappy recording of some of the "Friends of Due South Day" event that Alliance/Atlantis held in the city park -- Queens Park? -- during the 1997 RCW. If you're interested I'll dig around and see if I still have it. (Did I mention it's really crappy? It was my first time using a video camera and the camera battery died partway through the event.)
Wishing you all the best - Linda

greetings, everyone! I am so excited about the convention! But I have a few questions and am not exactly sure how to find the answers. My biggest question is about the gala dinner - will the stars be availible for chatting, maybe an autograph? Just curious - please let me know!

Haha. Yes, I am in college. I'm a senior now too. :) My mom (Michele Knutson) and my aunt (Leslie Croce) say hello.
I sold some textbooks back but I'm still about $500 short of being able to come to Toronto lol.
(Posted on 2008-07-02 21:31:00 by ) -
OMG, Cambria is in college?
That's it, I'm old.
I will not be attending due to my dialysis schedule and not being willing to figure out if I can find a treatment center in Toronto. Plus, I have a trip to LA scheduled the following month (I have arranged treatment there), so it's financially impossible.
I hope it turns out well.

OMG!!! I soooo wish I could go. Columbus, OH is only like 7hrs from Toronto. But unfortunately I'm a poor college kid. lol. I went to the convention in 1999 and had soooo much fun. I really wish I could go this time. Have fun everyone who goes!!! I wish I could be there.

I can't wait for the convention! :D My sister showed me the show and now thanks to her I'm going to be able to go to the convention (my dad won't let me go alone)!
I can just tell this is going to be amazing. I already have so many friends angry with me for being able to go!
(Posted on 2008-05-25 05:29:00 by ) -
Hi All,
I hope to make it to the event. Hadn't heard of dS when the previous cons happened. From everything I've heard, a great time was had by all. Thank you all kindly, for doing all of this, Julia from Upstate New York, Cobleskill, to be exact.

I'm hoping to come along...I was too young to come to the past conventions so am very excited at the prospect of coming to this one!!
I switching jobs in august - I hope my employer is gonna let me have some time off otherwise im gonna be in a real dilemma.
It amazes me (though makes me very happy) how many other people share my crazy passion for due south after all these years - long may it continue!

Oh how I wish I could be there too ,so you all have a great time, and have a donut for lincoln.
Lovely Lincoln sweet , and peaceful dreams , Dianne

Oh boy, Rowan's going going to be there! I finally get to meet The Welsh Connection! Looking forward to seeing everybody in August.

I wish i lived in Canada instead of the UK. I could then get to this convention.
I saw the show after i broke my neck and became a tetraplegic. Its kept me going. I can only now afford the DVD box set. I have waited so long to buy it.
I'm looking forward to watching the show agian, so I can have a laugh. ( And a cry ).
Thank you kindly.
P.S.
I've been trying to email the Due South Trading Post to ask about the DS Letterman Jacket to find the cost of mailing to the UK, but have had no reply. Can anyone help?

Great to see the revivial of the RCW 139. Since I'm still here in Toronto, I should be attending. Hope to meet new and old fans of the show. I've attended all the RCW 139 including the first one held at the ROM many years ago. I had alot of great memories from it.

When my friend Eileen (who, coincidentally, I met because of DS) jokingly suggested we travel to Canada for RCW139 my response was 'Let's do it!!!!' So now with some penny pinching and if everything falls into place, you'll have at least two of us DS mad fans from Down Under making the dream trip of a lifetime! :)

Bringing RCW139 back is a GREAT idea! I missed the original ones, and then they were gone! I'm one of the original fans that fell in love with the show back in 1996. Many Browncoats (Firefly/Serenity fans) also love the show. I'll spread the word!(Posted on 2007-10-16 05:54:00 by )

Hi, what a great idea. I attended in '96 and '97 and they were both lovely events - not too big, not too small, good fan participation and some wonderful guests. I certainly hope that I can make it if the RCW139 Revival goes ahead for 2008. All the best, Claire (from the London, UK)(Posted on 2007-10-12 15:42:00 by )

Woo! SO happy that we're having a 2010 convention - very good luck to the new committee in organising the event. Please can we have some dates so I can book time off work.
Fingers crossed that all the cast can make it this year.
